Great devblog, very amusing read 
Some non-shockers in the top ten, like rancer and the united topping the lists for pod kills. Interesting to see some lesser-known names I recognize on there, too.
Also funny how many new players are blown up in level 1 missions. Probably close to 30% of the total PVE losses in highsec. |

Do the NPC final blows count POS guns too?
If not, that's an awful lot of freighers, JFs and rorquals to be lost to rats. I can understand (somewhat) losing capitals to level 5 missions or sleepers, but industrial ships? |

PVE kills = player ships killed by rats, not PVE fits killed by players.
And if you check the types, almost half of them are t1 frigs and destroyers, most likely newbies dying in level 1 missions.
Isn't there a tutorial mission that instapops your ship? |

So many stats, so many posts, it's hard to keep track.
I see several top 10s for 2011. But have the totals by sec group for 2011 been posted? I can't find them.
What happens in lowsec, stays in lowsec, lowering the barrier to entry to lowsec PVP:
